FCE- Functional Capacity Evaluation A test used to define the patients physical capabilities usually in respect to job demands. The test takes 3 to 4 hour and is to simulate an 8 hour work day. It is also used to determine the need for medical disability.
TMJ - Temporal Mandibular Joint - The jaw joint.
Post offer testing - A test performed after a job offer is given to an individual. The testing evaluates the physical demands of the job, such as lifting, pushing, pulling, repetitive activity, sustained positions and other activities of the job. This allows the company to hire individuals who are capable of performing the job tasks. It also helps to create a safe environment for the employees and the employers.
